Paul joined Buro Happold fresh from University College Cardiff in 1986, and has worked in most of the Buro Happold offices, before settling in Berlin as Group Director of the German and Polish offices. Elevated to the position of principal in 2000, Paul's calm assurance and quiet dedication have been instrumental in ensuring the success of the European offices. A chartered structural engineer, Paul spent three years in the Bath office working on a variety of projects before transferring to the Middle East for a three year tour of duty.
His responsibilities here ranged from reinforced concrete design to managing the co-ordination of all construction disciplines for a major development in Riyadh City Centre.
